Missing Middle Housing Study: Preliminary Recommendations

Welcome to our Self-Guided Workshop!

Over the past year, we've been diligently developing these preliminary recommendations for implementing Missing Middle Housing (MMH) in Sacramento, ensuring that they are responsive to the input we've received and the analysis we’ve completed. The feedback received last year has helped to shape our engagement framework and can be encapsulated by the following 3 key questions, which the preliminary recommendations strive to be responsive to:

  1. What could MMH look like in Sacramento?
  2. Will it be lower-cost and attainable?
  3. How can the City promote home-ownership and address potential displacement through Missing Middle?

For those who might find it helpful, we’ve created FACTSHEETS that provide an overview of key topics covered in an earlier phase of this study.

We want to hear from you to make sure that we are headed in the right direction! Fill out the welcome survey first and proceed to 3 stations, one for each key question.
